Grayson Cellars 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

by John
(Amagansett, NY)

My wife and I recently had a wine tasting (or should I say wine guzzling) party at our home over the holidays. We asked our friends to bring over their favorite bottle of red so all our guests could sample different varieties of reds. As the night wore on and several bottles were consumed, we thought it might be fun to openly vote for our favorite bottle of red.

Surprisingly, the Grayson Cellars Cabernet was the overwhelming favorite. I say surprisingly because it was just a $9.00 dollar bottle that we picked up from our local wine merchant to have as filler among the more expensive bottles we decided to feature. He told us that it was a great tasting red for the money and boy was he right! The Grayson was chosen by almost everyone at our party and it's competition were bottles that ranged between a $50.00 and $75.00 dollar price point.

Grayson Cellars is located in St. Helena, CA and it is our recommendation for anyone looking to be pleasantly surprised.

Enjoy!

John and Lisa

Horrible

My wife bought this wine and I couldn't even drink it. Maybe it was a bad bottle but it certainly wasn't worth the $9. I can't even imagine how it could compare to a $50 bottle unless that bottle was spoiled. Save your money.
